Although this article is still {{current}}, I think it is very solid and I'd like to see it reach FA after the story "stabilizes" and becomes a non-current event. I'm proud of some of the writing and consensus building that has gone on, but there's structure problems in terms of stuff that could be reorganized into a more compact form, and probably some stuff that is really unnecessary which ought to be removed or moved to other articles. I'm looking for some good opinions on how to make this ideal. -Kwh 04:39, August 31, 2005 (UTC)
- It is very good work, well referenced and neutral. However, I personally feel that this shouldn't be a FA until the various inquiries are completed. This will likely take months, if not years. To be a FA it also needs a longer lead. - SimonP 03:57, September 1, 2005 (UTC)

- There is quite a bit that is contentious regarding the circumstances about this person's death, so I'd leave it a while before FA nomination. You could mention something about some of the Muslim extremists exploiting the mistake, though were you would find neutral, factual information about that is indeed an arduous task--Knucmo2 00:13, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
