I've listed this article for peer review because... I think there are problems in the page than can cause the page to be demoted since the article was nominated as GA a long time ago. Thanks, Matthewishere0 (talk) 15:38, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
The following suggestions were generated by a semi-automatic javascript program, and might not be applicable for the article in question.
- Consider adding more links to the article; per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking and Wikipedia:Build the web, create links to relevant articles.[?]
- Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers#Units of measurement, there should be a non-breaking space -
between a number and the unit of measurement. For example, instead of 35 yards, use 35 yards, which when you are editing the page, should look like:35 yards
.[?] - As per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers, dates shouldn't use th; for example, instead of (if such appeared in the article) using January 30th was a great day, use January 30 was a great day.[?]
- Per criterion 2b of Wikipedia:Featured article criteria and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Layout#Headings and sections, this article's table of contents (ToC) may be too long – consider shrinking it down by merging short sections or using a proper system of daughter pages as per Wikipedia:Summary style.[?]
- This article may need to undergo summary style, where a series of appropriate subpages are used. For example, if the article is United States, then an appropriate subpage would be History of the United States, such that a summary of the subpage exists on the mother article, while the subpage goes into more detail.[?]
- Please make the spelling of English words consistent with either American or British spelling, depending upon the subject of the article. Examples include: honor (A) (British: honour), honour (B) (American: honor), neighbour (B) (American: neighbor), favourite (B) (American: favorite), defence (B) (American: defense), organise (B) (American: organize), recognise (B) (American: recognize), criticise (B) (American: criticize), isation (B) (American: ization), counterattack (A) (British: counter-attack), equaling (A) (British: equalling), equalling (B) (American: equaling), travelled (B) (American: traveled).
- The script has spotted the following contractions: Hasn't, won't, don't, can't, doesn't, if these are outside of quotations, they should be expanded.
- Please ensure that the article has gone through a thorough copyediting so that it exemplifies some of Wikipedia's best work. See also User:Tony1/How to satisfy Criterion 1a.[?]
