Wikipedia:Peer review/New Radicals/archive1
I would like to get some feedback/suggestions for improvement on this article, as I have the impression it is quite complete and stable (and hopefully well-written and interesting). I'm also considering to nominate it as a featured article candidate somewhen down the line and would like your opinions on that... --Fritz Saalfeld 09:35, September 10, 2005 (UTC)
- Try giving a better insight into the sound of the band. You can do this by talking about the instruments that dominate their songs and better specifying the genre or genres they fuse. You might also like to talk about the themes of the album. Cedars 13:06, 10 September 2005 (UTC)
- Agree with Cedars. Also it needs a longer lead (two to three paragraphs) and ideally, inline citations, though that isn't a hard requirement. Another image or two would be nice, and it needs at least one sound sample. A cultural/social/musical impact section, or at least a few sentences in the lead, would be good, though I'm not sure you'd find any sources for it. Tuf-Kat 20:03, September 10, 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I now expanded the lead a little (probably still needs some more) and changed the first paragraph of the History section. I'm still working on the inclusion of the musical sound andlyrical theme; I don't want to just copy the things I wrote on the article for their album. And I'm still looking for a good second picture... --Fritz Saalfeld 11:23, September 11, 2005 (UTC)
