I would like to know what could be improved upon. Is there any information that should be removed? Anything needing to be clarified? Thanks. b_cubed 17:48, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- Please see automated peer review suggestions here. Thanks, APR t 23:26, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well if your intention is WP:FA (or even WP:GA), you'll need a LOT more footnotes.
- No bullets under "External links – Unofficial"?
- Trivia sections are disapproved of; convert into an "Appearances in popular culture" section instead.
- Bottom half of article way too list-weighty.
- More wikilinking is needed. Entire sections are black.
- See WP:MSH, namely about capitalizing in section headings.
- See WP:LAYOUT for the order of the last few sections.
- Copyediting needed. Check out this paragraph (hover over underlined stuff to see my comments):
In addition to reinforcements from holding territory, players also gain reinforcements by turning in Risk card sets. During the attacking phase of their turn, if a player takes over at least one territory, they claim a Risk card, which is a card showing one of the forty-two territories and a picture of an infantryman, a calvaryman, or a cannon. A set of Risk cards is three identical cards, or three cards showing one of each type of Risk unit. The number of reinforcements awarded for a turned-in set increases as sets of cards are turned in. A couple of points:
- More coverage of the history and development of the game would be useful, see the History section of Monopoly (game) for an example. We are told that Over the years, Parker Brothers and Hasbro have published many different editions of rules for the game. How have the rules developed?
- Some of the lists could perhaps be converted into prose, for example a few sentences on video game versions.
- The article cites very few references. More references would be beneficial, preferably incline citations using templates such as {{cite web}} or {{cite book}}.
Hope this helps. Oldelpaso 21:17, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
