Wikipedia:Peer review/Rossall School/archive1
(Redirected from Wikipedia:Peer review/Rossall School)
I've listed this article for peer review because it has undergone a great deal of updating and referencing of late. It would also seem that the school should be updated to high level importance like the the rest of the English public schools.
Thanks,

Twenty Years review
editHere are my suggestions:
- The section entitled "Rossal Today" seems very pro-Rossal, as if it were ripped from the schools website. A traditional layout would work well, starting with the history section, then campus and so on...
- Information on the schools timetable are unencyclopedic, and really not notable. "Tea is also offered to the boarders", who cares?
- Per WP:SCH, details of the school uniform should not be included unless the schools uniform is particularly notable or significant, which this one is not. Scotch College, Perth has the exact same uniform (just different colours)
- Discipline section should be merged with the jargon section and made into a "school terms" section, which is used in the article on Eton.
- The monitors section seems Non-notable, it may be merged into the school terms section.
- School activities should be put into a section called "extra-curricular activities", which could also include the school choirs section. CCF could also be a subjection of this section.
- The school song should not be included in the article, it seems Non notable, it might be worth a mention in a section on music at the school.
- The table in the house section seems non-notable. The names of the houseparents and house captains should be removed atleast.
- Rossal architechture, should be re-named "Campus" and contain information on the schools entire campus, including its architecture.
Just my thoughts....leave a message on my talk page if you need further clarification/help, thanks. Twenty Years 17:47, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
