This article is a mixup of 2 types of skepticism; Scientific skepticism and rational skepticism. What make it very bad is that the article clam it is the same thing!

Let me describe the difference.

Scientific skepticism is skepticism based upon scientific investigation and expe riments.If no scientific investigation or experiments have been made by the skeptic then it is not scientific skepticism but could still be rational skepticism or just ordinary skepticism.

Rational skepticism this means that when there is strong, repeatable evidence fo r a claim, we should accept it, and when there is little or inconclusive evidenc e for a claim, we should withhold belief until something better comes along.

A rational skepticism believe may still be obtain by studying many published scientific works without making the scientific investigation/experimen ts.

Where ordinary skepticism is based upon believes obtained through a persons upbring and education.

I think it would be best to split the article in 2.
