I have brought one article through FAN and another through GAN (both biographies), but this is the first article I've written from scratch about a written work, so I'm wondering if there are any issues I'm not seeing that would keep it from GA or even FA status. Is it comprehensive without being too granular? I appreciate any time you can spend looking this over.
Thanks! Dugan Murphy (talk) 00:20, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- As you have had this peer review open for a while I suggest you close it and submit the article for GA as I don't think it would be "quick failed". Of course you can continue to improve it while waiting for a GA reviewer, who will come eventually. Although I cannot remember how I am pretty sure there is a way to list all the articles for a subject which are FA. If you don't know how either then you could ask the technical helpdesk how to find all the FA articles about newspapers to give you ideas.
Re pics some reviewers don't like too many but if there is a relevant picture of a woman you could add them in "feminism" and move his pic elsewhere. If there is a relevant pic of a place or building that would also be fun I think and could always be removed later if a reviewer said it was off topic or too many pics.
Thanks for a nice article. Chidgk1 (talk) 06:42, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the encouragement, Chidgk1! I'll close this review and open a GAN after I add at least one more image. When I first drafted this article I read through a few of the articles listed at Wikipedia:Featured articles#Magazines and comics for content ideas and best practices.
