editExercise Tunes
editAlright, I need some good exercise tunes to put onto my iPod to motivate me to start jogging again. It really is amazing how the Rocky Theme motivates you to push harder in pushups and such in general strength training, but I need some more tunes cuz Rocky by himself can't help me to conquer the 1KM hill I live on.... well I guess I should never underestimate Rocky but still (snickers).... Anyways you got any fresh ideas for me? Thank you very much in advance. CroCan "Short answer 'yes' with an 'if'...long answer 'no' with a 'but'" 02:26, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

- Survivor, Eye of the Tiger. I find things like the pseudo-marching themes to The Great Escape and Thunderbirds very rousing. Lanfear's Bane
- I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song". Not your standard work out song but what better to inspire you than a song that involves Vikings sailing to conquer new lands and fighting against wind and snow to get there? Dismas|(talk) 09:31, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- Scarface (Push It to the Limit), I would imagine this would be awesome to run to, loved it when it came on the radio while playing GTA. I say imagine it would be awesome to run to because you won't catch me running unless it envolves holding the shift key. Lanfear's Bane
- Talking about limits, what about the Homestar Runner song "To the Limit" (or whatever Strongbad named it)? -- Kainaw(what?) 12:03, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

- Really, any monotonous song with repetitive drums in the background, such as Billy Joel's "We didn't start the fire" or REM's "It's the end of the world." When running, you won't listen to the music. You'll hear the repetitive beat. -- Kainaw(what?) 14:24, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- How about Flashdance... What a Feeling by Irene Cara? Thinking of Jennifer Beals working out to that song does it for me every time... --Richardrj talk email 15:28, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- Guitar angle, ancient skool: Full House (the title song and track 4, Cariba) or Sookie Sookie from Grant Green's Alive! (1970). ---Sluzzelin talk 23:20, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

Throat protection in ice hockey
editI've heard that the throat protection used in ice hockey only became mandatory after a player got his throat slit. Is this true, and if so, whose throat was it? Jack Daw 12:41, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

- Well they say the best way to view fish in a stream is from 'above' (without going underwater). There is a site (http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/5-22-2006-96893.asp) that might have some tips to help you along your way. ny156uk 19:14, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

hello
editin vice city of gta how does one beat "the driver" in club malibu.since i can beat him on reacing anyone knows a cheat i can use him to beat him.or edit the game file to skip that mission.i can kill him
- That one was a bitch. Here is how I did it. Get thyself the fast crotch rocket bike (PCJ600 or whatever its called, there is usually one parked in the grass alongside a building to the south of the club you start the race at). Park it a few blocks down the road from where you start the race, not too far though or it will disappear. Go and start the mission. Bail out of your crappy car when you get to the bike, hop on and go go go. It will seem like you are too far behind to catch up but you will pass him with plenty of time to spare. The heal cheat will fix your vehicle if needed, but you shouldn't need to use it. 161.222.160.8 22:53, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
