300 dvd release

edit

According to IGN.com, will the movie 300 (by Zack Snyder) be released in DVD(single and two disc) and HD-dvd/dvd combo.

What does HD-dvd/dvd combo means? HD-dvd and a dvd in one box???—Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.239.172.228 (talkcontribs)

Usually, one disc with HD-DVD on one side, and a DVD on the other. You flip the disc over depending on which you want to watch. A Very Noisy Lolcat 09:30, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Final Sun "scripting" ?

edit

Right so i have this program thats basically a map editor for Command and Conquer: TIberian Sun. The program is called "Final Sun"...... its fairly easy to figure out how to make things like cliffs and water and place objects, however.... i ran into a problem, and i posted it on their forum but havent got a reply for over 2 weeks, so i figured i should try here. To the chase....

Problem: I am creating a map for use in 8 "player" skrimishes (7 AI computers + me).... I want to place infantry in a few places on the map, and set it so the first "player" to bump into them gets them on their side. theres supposed to be an automatic thing that does it for me, but apparantly the people who made the program forgot to complete that script? Anyway, i can place the troops just fine, its just a question of how to transfer it to the person who revealed them first. I read tons of stuff in the help manual and it didnt help. anyone have any ideas?

Hurricane Chronicles?

edit

I was wondering what happened to the "Plot of Naruto: Shippuden." Just a few weeks ago I was reading it and I noticed the article was being considered for deletion or separation into smaller articles. If the article was indeed deleted, if this is the place to ask, where could I find similiar information? Thanks.

It was deleted because it was a redirect to this redirect: Plot of Naruto: Shippūden (before it got vandalized).--Shantavira|feed me 07:38, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chicago Gangster Style Movies?

edit

Im interested in trying to find some movies based on Chicago style gangs. It seems to me that i have this image of it from my childhood, thanks to looney tunes or some other cartoon show..... where the gangsters are carrying gatling guns and one gangster says something like "It's coitons(curtains) for you Mugsy, coitons!"

I know its cheesy but i find it to be funny, sorta like B-movies are. Are there any movies out that actually have people with that kind of accent, or is the cartoon just making an extreme spoof? If anyone knows of any movie titles please let me know/link them. :)

That cartoon is Racketeer Rabbit (according to IMDb, Bugs Bunny says "It's coitains for ya, Rocky! Coitains!"). As for gangster films, there are so many, although I'm not really sure about the accents: Scarface, Little Caesar (Edward G. Robinson: "Mother of mercy, is this the end of Rico?"), even Robin and the 7 Hoods for a more light-hearted take. You could also check out List of crime films. Categorizing Action Figures & TV Series/Movies

edit

Several movies and TV series have had action figure or toy lines based on them. Many of the figure lines aren't notable enough for their own article, but the movie/TV articles include a section describing them. I've been adding many of these TV/movie articles under the Action Figures category and have considered adding Toys of the 1980s/1990s as well. Examples include Dick Tracy (film) and Blackstar (TV series). Is this appropriate?

Also, I'm curious about properties that have an action figure article, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures and Batman action figures. Should their individual articles for specific movies or TV series be placed under the Action Figures category as well? Cale 21:51, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hilton Commercial

edit

Does anyone know what the song is on the Hilton A to B commercial with the reddish-orange background and the dragon forming? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.147.68.58 (talkcontribs) 23:55, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Is that Ben Folds' Landed, from Songs for Silverman? I know his song is used on a Hilton commercial, but i'm not sure it has a dragon. Rockpocket 03:54, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
