Trying to remember a TV movie

I've been trying to recall the name of an American television movie from roughly the early 1980s. It was about a luxury ocean liner from earlyish in the 20th century (20s or 30s) that sank. When the wreck is found, many of the survivors of the ship are still alive (!) living in the trapped air of the ship and have developed some technologies to help them live (yeah, I know, not very plausible). I believe it was played on two successive nights originally, and I saw it repeated a couple of times in subsequent years. I don't recall which network it was on. I think that's it! The name rings a bell. Strangely, I don't remember anything about some of the storylines mentioned in those references... must be due to what I found exciting when younger. Bergman's Religion?

Rule 34

I've been wondering this for years. According to Rule 34, there's pornography for everything - examples include the Smurfs, 9/11, and Cream of Wheat Cereal - but is there a kind of pornography where people are shown expressing intimacy and caring for one another? In other words, they aren't merely engaged in animalistic sex, but they seem to have a genuine relationship? I suspect it's the one exception to the Rule. If this is a genre, does it have a name?

Surely the OP is asking about soft core pornography? There are many porn movies where a storyline is actually attempted, with varying degrees of success. A recent example IMO would be 9 Songs... Sandman30s (talk) 13:25, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

It would depend on where about you live, but http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1023481/releaseinfo shows the release dates for a variety of countries. I'm not sure how I could find out if is still playing in cinemas - your best bet is to find your local cinema/s website/s and check their. It should be relatively easy enough - in the UK we have city-specific schedules available to view online.

What is the title, Ace Tone?

The cast credits for the movie, Local Hero, listed several actors as Ace Tone. An internet search returns info on the chemical acetone, but not the character, Ace Tone. Is the term applicable to a trade or a movie term for an extra or something else?72.226.111.1 (talk) 22:24, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

If you heard that in a rap song, then there are no set rules. It's all made up. Although this story claims it is "Don't Smoke Blunts In An Executive's Office". This idea of stating the "industry rules" comes from Q-Tip (of A Tribe Called Quest) who said "industry rule 4080 - Record company people are shady" in the song "Check the Rhime" on the album The Low End Theory.--droptone (talk) 11:52, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
