November 24
editJean-Claude Van Damme
editI have been watching his documentary "Behind Closed Doors" He kept talking of a fight he wanted to do with Olympic Champ. Want to know if it ever happened, is it going to happen, what's going on with that ? thanks, Cindy — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:B8F3:5320:51F7:1322:EEB5:AEC3 (talk) 16:14, November 23, 2014
- Per his article, "The fight has been repeatedly postponed, with many critics doubting it will [ever] occur, especially due to the difficulty of booking the venue."--Shantavira|feed me 09:13, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
- Van Damme is currently 54 years old. At what point does it become "too late" to stage such an event? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 20:46, 25 November 2014 (UTC)
- According to Dan Severn, 54. Depends on the person, though. I've heard from a few fairly reputable sources that Danny Hodge is still ridiculously strong. InedibleHulk (talk) 00:11, 1 December 2014 (UTC)

- While it wasn't exactly a fight, Lou Thesz still did alright at 74 against his student, Masahiro Chono. Plenty of fighters (and several Olympians) turn to pro wrestling after their peak. It wouldn't be odd to see the guy who pretended to be the guy who pretended to beat everyone when nobody was looking (and later also accused JC of pretending to be himself) find that sort of venue.
