editWhat is the name of the book from the movie Le Brio
editIn the new French movie Le Brio the professor teaches the girl how to debate from a German book. Is the book Really exist? And if so - what’s the name of the book and the author. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.122.158.251 (talk) 21:50, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
- Having not seen the movie, the only clue I could find is that the professor was "citing Schopenhauer and Rabelais, [and] having her read Nietzsche out loud"[1] (no mention of any specific book). 2606:A000:1126:4CA:0:98F2:CFF6:1782 (talk) 06:16, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
- Out of works by Schopenhauer and Nietzsche, perhaps Schopenhauer's The Art of Being Right might be the best for teaching how to debate, since "In it, Schopenhauer examines a total of thirty-eight methods of showing up one's opponent in a debate." However, more clues from the film (which I too have not seen), might suggest a different work or author. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 94.0.130.143 (talk) 23:43, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
