how would I source liner notes

Hello I found a few albums on Wikipedia that are missing some info that I plan on editing later today, but would like to know if I can cite album liner notes if they don't exist on sites like allmusic or amazon. I'm thinking of addind some credits like background vocals and guitars to albums such as albums like this and songs like this. Fore example, (thanks to a friend for reading this for me), Claudia Fontaine provided background vocals for the Maxi Priest song, whcih is tracks 1 and 15. Discogs says that the background vocals were only done by Brian And Tony Gold while my album liner notes lists Claudia Fontaine as well as Brian And Tony Gold. Is there a way to cite the album notes if one owns the album or do we have to go on sites like discogs or almusic for album credits. thanks 199.101.61.34 (talk) 09:12, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

See WP:A/S. Short answer, Allmusic can be used but discogs can't, album notes can and should be cited using Template:Cite AV media notes but good luck to you understanding that last page as reading it gave me a headache. Best thing is to find an album article that is well cited, copy the basic template to the article you're working on and fill in the details from your album notes. --Viennese Waltz 09:28, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
