1950s cartoon series

edit

This is really a shot in the dark. I recall a cartoon series from the late 1950s or so about three Chinese brothers who were "enchanted princes", each one having a special skill or superpower. They were on a mission of some kind. It was shown on WGN-TV, probably as part of the Garfield Goose show. I've not been able to find out anything about it. Is anyone here old enough to remember it? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots03:44, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is a story about several Chinese brothers, who … let me think … angered some potentate (to make this work, it helps if the prince did not know there was more than one) who sentenced them/him to beheading, but one of them had an iron neck, so the prince tried drowning him, but another brother could extend his neck to keep his head out of even deep water … I think I once saw a version of this story animated, and perhaps these details will jog someone. —Tamfang (talk) 16:38, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The part about being able to consume and expel an unlimited amount of water is one detail I specifically remember about the cartoons. So it looks like that's on track. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots19:17, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
