weirdwikier | Conversations and Contributions 19:48, 30 July 2020 (UTC)- There are several reliable (book) sources listed at the bottom. If you need to verify that information, you can add a tag ({{citation needed}}) and/or discuss it on the article's talk page (Talk:HMS Boreas (H77)). 2606:A000:1126:28D:34C7:B325:D9B8:574 (talk) 21:17, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- The engine details in the WP article are referenced to Destroyers of World War Two: An International Encyclopedia, Whitley, M J (2002), which is not readable online. Alansplodge (talk) 16:00, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- However, British Destroyers 1939–45: Pre-war classes By Angus Konstam says for the A and B classes: "Three Admiralty drum boilers (Yarrow boilers in Grenville), two Parsons geared turbines (Brown-Curtis turbines in Acasta, Achates, Basilisk and Beagle), driving two shafts, generating 34,000 shp; maximum speed: 35 knots".
