editSergeant Kolbe could be one of these two: Kolbe, Hans, Kolbe, Hans-Jochen. Can you search for more information? Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.116.115.14 (talk) 13:14, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- To make any sense of this question, see Wikipedia:Reference desk/Archives/Humanities/2022 October 29#20 July plot. Alansplodge (talk) 14:26, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- In this German site, it's said that he was 40-year-old at that time, then can you use that information to found him? Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.16.244.44 (talk) 10:48, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
Hitler Youth
editPlease, can you find information about Inge Dombrowski and her Lieutenant when they died in 1945? Thank you very much.
- This book says that she was mentioned in a German military report on civilian morale. She was a Luftwaffenhelfer. She appears in fictionalised form in Downfall (2004 film). An author with the same name seems to be a different person. Alansplodge (talk) 14:22, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- Also mentioned in Wer weiss ob wir uns wiedersehen (1980) by historian de:Dieter Borkowski. It seems to be a first hand account, ie due to Borkowski being himself of the Luftwaffenhelfer(n) - mentioned in Germany 1945-1949, Sourcebook. --Askedonty (talk) 18:01, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- Note that more than 200,000 boys [1] and 116,000 girls and young women [2] were enlisted as "Flakhelfern" by 1944, so the chances of personal acquaintance seem a bit slim. Alansplodge (talk) 11:21, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
- True, I should perhaps have given a little bit more consideration to it. Well at any rate, the numbers are to be reduced to those of the units in area Berlin I think. --Askedonty (talk) 12:53, 2 December 2022 (UTC)

Music of northern Spain
editHi, I have two questions.
I would appreciate some insight or list of composers from northern Spain. Especially form the regions of Asturias and Cantabria. Unfortunately, the Category: Spanish composers page does not list the by region.
My second question is, are there any repository of directory of folk tunes, or traditional songs of these regions (specifically Asturias)?. Thank you

- The Wikipedia article titled Traditional music of Galicia, Cantabria and Asturias may be a decent starting place. Sadly, it is basically entirely bereft of sources to check, so that sucks, but it does give at least some information for the names of performers and composers you might follow up on. --Jayron32 19:14, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- A search engine that may help in finding names is Grove Music Online (with WP:Library you can access the entries). One resource found from there is La Biblioteca de la Fundación Marcelino Botín. I can't link to search results but Accede al catálogo online and enter just 'Galacia', 'Asturias', or 'Cantabria' will turn up a number of names to research, or many resources if you can read spanish. fiveby(zero) 20:41, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- We may not sub-divide our category of Spanish composers by region, but luckily Spanish Wikipedia does. --Antiquary (talk) 20:50, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you so much everybody! 2600:1700:7830:DE40:1CA9:2B1C:4292:1239 (talk) 21:30, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
