editAre these supercentenarians still living? Marie Buckner (February 3 1903) Mary West (October 23 1903) Maria N. Ribvera Cruz (October 10 1902)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.91.28.66 (talk) 19:36, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
- A Mary West allegedly born on January 10, 1901, died on January 19, 2011.[1] Clarityfiend (talk) 21:16, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
Crossed fingers statue
editThe president of a state photographers group is given a statue of a hand with the the index and middle fingers crossed. The other fingers are sort of pulled down from those two as if giving a Cub Scout salute. Is this a standard sort of statue for leaders of organizations? Can anyone tell me what it means? Should I take it to mean what is said at crossed fingers? Thanks, Dismas|(talk) 22:13, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
- Nothing to do with crossing fingers for "good luck"? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 22:15, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
- If it is in the US, it could conceivably be a fingerspelling 'R'. --ColinFine (talk) 14:57, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
- It is probably his gang sign. This may be interesting. The Quixotic Potato (talk) 20:53, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
