Insect control

I don't really want to kill them. As I figured out, the cup I bought is way higher than the others sold on Amazon.. this might be the reason, but it is still annoying (I know, its a first world problem)--185.51.85.16 (talk) 12:55, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

If you don't want to kill them, maybe you could carry one of those "Gopher" things, kind of a giant pair of tweezers,[1] so you could retrieve the ball and shake the critters off before you put the ball back in your hand. ←Baseball Bugs ^{What's up, Doc?} carrots→ 12:58, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

You have the right idea, but the general purpose grabber you listed doesn't seem like it could open up inside the hole. Here's one specifically for golf balls: [2]. They might also want to disinfect the ball that just had bugs on it, so maybe they could carry 2 balls, one in play and the other in a little sealed cup with alcohol in it.
