editDemocratic Party vs Green Party
editIn the manner that Jill Stein means the word “diverse”, in the United States, which is more “diverse,” the Democratic Party or the Green Party?173.10.22.133 (talk) 07:20, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- How does Jill Stein define "diverse"? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 08:56, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- Well, you see, I don't know. Whatever the meaning is that she attaches to it, I would like to know which, under that meaning of diverse, is more diverse, the Greens or the Dems? I do have this short quote of her I got from the Washington Examiner: "...working for corporate masters and the fossil fuel giants, and the big banks, and Wall Street, and the war machine. That is not my opinion, that Democrats are the party of diversity. Voters deserve more choices."
I can't tell exactly what she means from this short quote.144.35.114.45 (talk) 01:56, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- It sounds like she means Dems are in the pockets of corporations, just as Reps are. But if that's an exact quote, that next-to-last sentence doesn't quite make sense. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 02:24, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Agreed, it didn't quite make sense, not sure it was even trying to make sense.144.35.114.45 (talk) 01:36, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
What is the biggest company in the world as of 2019?
editPersononthinternet (talk) 07:25, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- Before one of our resident pedants comes along with their favourite response "Define biggest", let me offer you List of largest companies by revenue and List of public corporations by market capitalization. --Viennese Waltz 07:57, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- Besides the ones Viennese Waltz listed, you may also find List of largest employers useful. --Jayron32 13:51, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- Does a church count as a "company"? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 01:17, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Wikipedia has an article titled Company that has a decent definition. You can read it yourself and decide. --Jayron32 13:37, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- That doesn't necessarily mean that it's what the OP thinks a "company" is. However, the OP is unlikely to be back to clarify. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 19:16, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- The OP did not express any question about the meaning of company. You did. --Jayron32 19:18, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Nor did the OP seem to care whether the question got answered or not. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 09:56, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
