editAm I allowed to ask questions about dog or cat breeds, or any pet?
editIm going to need to know because I have a lot of animal related questions.
Examples Include:
- Why is this (dog/cat breed) so rare/popular? - Why does this dog look like this/that? / How did this dog breed get its shape? - How did this dog breed (e.g. Sealyham Terrier, Vizsla, Greyhound, Puli) gets its name? - What are the origins of this Cat/Dog breed? (I only because I like going deep into things, plus I also ask if the article for the breed doesn’t explain the information I wanted) - How/Why did the (insert name of pet species/breed here) become/go extinct? - What are the ancestors/breeds that made of this dog/cat breed? - How did this animal species/breed get its coat colors? - What are the health issues of this animal species/breed?
These are the questions I could come up with, but still, there are possibly a few more.

- Most of those questions are probably answered in the articles for individual breeds. If you don't find the answers you're looking for, suggest you try & find them yourself first using google. If you're still stuck, feel free to ask here. --Viennese Waltz 19:52, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- There's something about the OP's phrasing that sounds familiar. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 00:11, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
- There was a user recently who asked a number of unencyclopedic and largely unanswerable questions about dog breeds. I agree that there's a good chance this is the same person. Xuxl (talk) 13:23, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
- Good call. You're thinking of User:Answermeplease11 who has been banned as a sock. Someone should raise an SPI on this user as well. --Viennese Waltz 13:51, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
- Never mind, I opened it myself. --Viennese Waltz 15:15, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
