This is my first attempt at a Wikipedia article (or "stub"). I had noticed a few references to the topic "Cowan Bank" in other articles but there was no article to link to (just red text in one case).
I have submitted a proposal to help improve this article here intending to help progress the article to (eventually) WP:FA. I am looking for community advice on how to initially proceed. I had considered a submission to W:PR but having read the pre-submission guidelines there, I felt the article is not ready for WP:PR yet.

Hello, I am wondering if/how I can remove the warning message at the top of my page about it being an orphan. Also, someone recommended I use the AutoWikiBrowser to remove promotional and unreliable refs, but I am not eligible to get it. What are my other options for identifying to areas of my article that need additional citations?
Thank you!
