What is this dispute about? What sections, sentences, or issues in the article(s) can you not agree on? If you are the editor who opened this request, list these issues to be mediated under "Primary issues". If you did not open this request, you can add additional issues to be mediated under "Additional issues". The issues to be mediated would be properly agreed upon later, if this request for mediation is accepted.
- Primary issues (added by the filing party)
- These articles ought be hierarchical (1. Rotorcraft, 2. Multirotor Aircraft, 3. Quadcopter Aircraft)
- Quadrotor article introduction is inaccurate, and contains contradicting statements.
- There is general confusion on what is and not a helicopter; propellers, blades, and rotors need clarification and appropriate nomenclature must be used.
- Multirotor article needs a lot of work.
- Additional issues (added by other parties)
- Additional issue 1
- Additional issue 2

- Agree. Regijean (talk) 20:15, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
- No - Very, very premature. Prerequisite 4 is not met, only preliminary discussion on Quadcopter and none at all even attempted by requesting editor on Multirotor or Rotorcraft or even at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aircraft, which would be a better place to start. Requesting editor has only ever edited one page, Talk:Quadcopter. - Ahunt (talk) 21:13, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This section should only be edited by a mediator. The Mediation Committee's representative will indicate in due course whether the request is accepted (meaning a mediator will be assigned) or rejected (meaning you will have to try a different type of dispute resolution). If the mediator asks you a question in this section, you may edit here.
- Reject. Fails to satisfy prerequisite to mediation #5, "A majority of the parties to the dispute consent to mediation". (I've not looked to see whether or not this case may also fail to satisfy prerequisite #4 as asserted by the responding editor, so silence in this rejection about that prerequisite should not be taken to be a comment, pro or con, on that issue. Participation in formal mediation, like all other forms of moderated content dispute resolution here at Wikipedia, is entirely voluntary and if an editor chooses not to participate, their reason for not so choosing is irrelevant.)
