- There is an ongoing low-intensive edit war going on at Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden on whether to include mention of his majesty's latest tabloid-exposed "mistakes". (See this diff). An attempt at reasoning with the concerned parties would probably be useful. / Alarm 10:13, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
- Aha, found them at last! Excellent, and authoritative, Swedish government glossaries, from sweden.gov.se. They include descriptions of governmental and administrative functions in English, together with the relevant Swedish term, titles used at the Swedish Government Offices, and lists of Swedish agencies, organisations, titles, EU and EC bodies, EU titles and the names of countries. That's what I call pay dirt. I've created a section for them on /Terminology, but I'm not sure it's the most comfortable place. Should they go somewhere else? Or be additionally linked to from somewhere with high visibility? I do want people to be able to find them, they're really good resources. Bishonen | talk 16:04, 4 September 2005 (UTC)

- The term the Sound can no longer be used when referring to Oresund (not surprising this would happen, actually). A fairly notable British band is also called "the Sound". Instead use the Sound (geography), the proper name Oresund, or anything else you want to created a redirect for.
- Should infoboxes (Template:Infobox_Swedish_monarchs) from Swedish monarchs be removed? See for instance Charles XII of Sweden. The infoboxes contained interesting information. Arguments may be presented at the talk page.

- I got crazy today and created Swedish allotment system (Indelningsverket), which I expanded to a fairly long article, despite having omtentor to study to. Wikipedia is dangerous. Anyway, I put it up for peer review as I want it to become a featured article. -- Elisson • Talk 18:54, 14 August 2005 (UTC)

- I have created three quality measures for Sweden related articles. They are Template:Sweden-article-1 Template:Sweden-article-2 and Template:Sweden-article-3. Their intention is to show the goals for Swedish articles, and to distingiush the "good" and "decent" articles from the stubs. Comments are appreciated. --Fred-Chess 10:07, August 1, 2005 (UTC)

- The Swedish province articles have been boldly moved from Latin to Swedish names, e.g Ostrogothia --> Östergötland, and one user has protested at Talk:Skåne. Please weigh in with your opinion! Please let's keep this Latin/Swedish discussion at Talk:Skåne and avoid dispersing it over all the province articles. (Not sure I'm putting this note in the best place, sorry.) Bishonen | talk 11:19, 11 July 2005 (UTC)

- Second (I think(?), first one being the article on the Swedish language) Sweden-related article to go up on FAC, as I've self-nominated the IFK Göteborg article I've written (with the help of a few others). I think there are good possibilities for the notice board to collaborate and create more Featured Articles related to Sweden. -- Elisson | Talk 30 June 2005 22:26 (UTC)
