- Template:RFT (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Obviously meant to be a "request for template" template. However it is not implemented, not used and it doesn't appear to be functional. It is linked from mediawiki; if this is a test template it should either be in userspace, or somewhere (I don't know where) on mediawiki. Best regards, Captain n00dle\Talk 11:56, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

- Template:Maspecorg (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Template is only used on one page. Creates unnecessary transclusion work for wikipedia's servers when it is easy enough to write SO(anumber) in the article. Usage of the template does not provide benefit through categorisation or other function. Captain n00dle\Talk 11:48, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Navigation template mostly linking only to spring green, seems overly specific. PaleAqua (talk) 05:08, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Keep. Spring green is a major color. It is one of the 12 major colors of the RGB color wheel at intervals of 30 degrees. I have listed these 12 major colors below. Therefore, this template should be kept and should NOT be deleted. Keraunos (talk) 18:03, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- On the color sphere, by analogy with the globe of Earth, the color white is at the north pole, the color black is at the south pole, the color grey is at the center of Earth, and the 12 major colors of the color wheel (the 12 basic hues) are spaced equally around the equator. Thus, all other colors can be made from mixtures of these 15 colors.

The 12 major colors of the color wheel
editThe 12 major colors of the color wheel, at 30 degree intervals on the HSV color wheel (RGB color wheel) are the following: red (Color #FF0000 (0 degrees or 360 degrees), orange (Color #FF7F00) (30 degrees), yellow (Color#FFFF00) (60 degrees), chartreuse green (Color#7FFF00) (90 degrees), green (Color#00FF00) (120 degrees), spring green (Color#00FF7F) (150 degrees), cyan (Color#00FFFF) (180 degrees), azure (Color#007FFF) (210 degrees), blue (Color#0000FF) (240 degrees), violet (Color#7F00FF) (270 degrees), magenta (Color#FF00FF) (300 degrees), and rose (Color#FF007F) (330 degrees). This constitutes the complete set of primary, secondary, and tertiary color names. Keraunos (talk) 18:03, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

Navigation template that only goes to one page. PaleAqua (talk) 04:42, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Delete I agree that this template should be deleted because cerulean is not a a major color of the color wheel and there is no need for a template that goes to only one article. Keraunos (talk) 17:57, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

Navigation template that only goes mostly to one page. PaleAqua (talk) 04:42, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Keep. Chartreuse is a major color. It is one of the 12 major colors of the RGB color wheel at intervals of 30 degrees. I have listed these 12 major colors below. Therefore, this template should be kept and should NOT be deleted. It links also to the separate article on the color lime, which is a tone of chartreuse, and allows additional chartreuse colors to be added as separate articles in the future. The result of the discussion was Replace with new template Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 00:04, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
This is a somewhat limited infobox template which is only being used in one article. Basically, it only includes a name, an image, and some comments. The comments would be largely redundant to the article text. The image could be included without using the infobox. So, I don't see a reason for this template. I suppose it could be expanded, but it would be better to merge this with an infobox with a wider scope. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 03:18, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
- Replace. There are 286 communities in the British National Vegetation Classification, so an infobox may be needed; but this isn't it (I've Subst the one instance (in which the "comment" was more like a caption for the image)). I've created a potential replacement, at {{Infobox NVC community/sandbox}}, but it may need more work. Andy Mabbett (User:Pigsonthewing); Andy's talk; Andy's edits 10:03, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
