- Template:Iran Squad 2013 FIVB Volleyball World League (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- non-notable squad. World League is an annually tournament and this is just the wide roster and this team could not make it to the final six. Mohsen1248 (talk) 21:43, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- I think deletion is not a constructive edit. The template refers to one of the best teams around the globe. Soroush90gh (talk) 09:45, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
- It's not about the team, it's about the competition, 9th place is not an accomplishment for a secondary annual tournament. I would not nominate that for deletion if they could reach for the final six at least. btw this is just the wide roster. Mohsen1248 (talk) 11:35, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
- Delete - Ninth place? The established precedent is that we should not create team roster navboxes for non-championship teams. (If there are others like this, let's nominate them for TfD, too.) Moreover, this navbox violates one of the basic criteria of WP:NAVBOX, that the specific subject of every navbox should be supported by a stand-alone article or list. The result of the discussion was Withdrawn. Template restored by original creator, and talk page moved back, purpose explained and nominator, myself conisdered trouted. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 02:30, 2 January 2015 (UTC) .
Content incorporated into draft (renamed from parent). Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:38, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Restore. It's a boilerplate template for a section of shared text that this person decided unilaterally to convert to a draft: instead, to no benefit, with no reason and with no discussion. Andy Dingley (talk) 18:47, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was delete as redundant Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 15:26, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
- Template:MEP website (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
This template is obviously redundant to Template:official website yet doesn't make use of the Wikidata property. It is also misleading, as the name suggests it it to be specific to MEPs which is not the case. It's just another plain "official website" template with a different styling.
If the more verbose link presentation is prefered, that should be discussed on Template talk:official website. I'm very open for that.
As a separate template this however should go after preferrably a bot has moved the URL to Wikidata. PanchoS (talk) 13:29, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Delete as redundant, after Wikidatafication. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 13:39, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
- Delete: it's totally not a website. (no URL)--333-blue 14:02, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was delete as no longer useful Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 15:28, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
With the EP's new database structure, this template has become completely redundant to Template:MEP.
Note that before deletion, all transclusions should be replaced and the IDs should be added to Wikidata by a bot, if possible. PanchoS (talk) 01:00, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Delete after
"Wikidatafication", per nomsubstitution. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 10:51, 1 January 2015 (UTC)- The IDs are already on Wikidata for all MEPs I checked. All we have to do is replace the transclusion by a plain
{{MEP}}
. I did that for a good half of the transclusions, the rest should be the manual work of half an hour for anybody willing to volunteer. No bot needed. --PanchoS (talk) 14:39, 1 January 2015 (UTC)- Fair enough. I've made it wrapper, and that seems to work OK, but it should still be subst, and then deleted. Here's an example substitution, of a complex case with two parameters, on a disambiguated page. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 13:50, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
