A) Per recent Requested Move, this wasn't really a war, exactly - closer to gunboat diplomacy where the French got what they wanted off some casual shelling. Murder, sure, but it didn't quite turn into a war. B ) Even if thought of as a war, these articles have all been redlinks for 10+ years, and always will be - there simply isn't anything to say about them. The sole bluelink, Paknam incident, is already linked in the main article - no need for a navbox for it. SnowFire (talk) 00:01, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- Template creator has been blocked for 9+ years, but will ping @Paul 012 and Srnec: who participated in recent RM. SnowFire (talk) 00:04, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- Delete. Useless. Templates exist stricly 'as needed'. Srnec (talk) 00:11, 20 January 2024 (UTC)

- Template:DYK-portal (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Basically like Template:DYK talk, but for portals.
This template seems to be exclusively used to recognize entries from Portal:Paleozoic/DYK. It is contributing to banner blindness. This doesn't need its own template. This could in theory be integrated into Template:Article history but I doubt it's worth the hassle. Schierbecker (talk) 04:31, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- Delete. Note that the portal is also up for MFD by the nominator, but even if the portal is kept, we don't need a whole-ass banner declaring a single incoming link. "What links here" routinely shows hundreds of incoming links for articles already, there's no reason to call out any such link as particularly important or relevant. (The sole exception MIGHT be if an article is being used elsewhere by {{excerpt}}, but that's a very unusual case and not comparable to Just Another Link.)
