Redesign the Current Main Page

  • Redesign I was really pleased to receive your newsletter - thank you and well done. I'd like to suggest that you do change the page layout to make it look a bit more different from an ordinary Talk Page. But, more importantly, may I may a suggestion for you and your editors to consider?
Why don't you clearly market TWW as being written for young editors by young editors?
I reckon that should be your USP in my view, and would make it stand out from Signpost. I know that at least one TWW editor monitors the Teahouse, so you could note when younger editors post there and make an assessment of whether it'd be a good idea to contact them, offering a link to TWW. Or maybe find those Categories or Userboxes that people have deployed which indicate an appropriate age group, or that they're in High School. Using 'what links here' to find them from Userboxes, you could approach some of them with a short invite. You could invite other young editors to contribute, and maybe write about their experience of editing and on Wikipedia, and the special problems they face! What do you think?
