I'm not scared, I felt like this on No Way Home...

Rank Article Class Views Image Notes/about
1 Spider-Man: No Way Home   4,812,556   After months of non-stop theories, the final Marvel Cinematic Universe of the year arrived, with a story reminding us that for all his skills Peter Parker is very stupid, as while trying to solve his life he instead makes it absolutely worse, first by causing the sudden appearance of people from two alternate universes (across five movies) that absolutely hate his guts, and then by not thinking "put this thing back where it came from or so help me" and instead deciding to give a second chance to those hostile people. Griping on questionable character decisions apart, No Way Home is still a fun and emotional journey that revels in fanservice for those watching Spider-Man movies ever since 2002. The film already made a killing in advance ticket sales and should make lots of money, as well as attract people to read more about the movie on Wikipedia.
2 Harnaaz Sandhu   1,135,242   In spite of people who question why beauty pageants are still a thing, every year Miss Universe brings in the views. And this year, the winner came from India, which already shapes this report quite a bit, so lots of visits ensued to learn more on Harnaaz Sandhu, who was born the same year an Indian woman last won.

Btw, what does it take to win the Miss Universe title? This year, among other things, one had to impersonate a cat, and then give a kickass response to a judge's question! Go girl!

3 Miss Universe 2021   1,014,261
4 Lewis Hamilton   940,584   Formula One broke out of Lewis Hamilton dominance as Dutch wunderkind Max Verstappen, son of a fellow F1 driver, took home the World Drivers' Championship. The season was many controversial moments between the two, namely the collisions at the British Grand Prix (for which Hamilton was penalised, and Verstappen described as the low-point of his season, after being hospitalized) and the Italian Grand Prix (for which Verstappen was blamed).

The controversy of the final race (see #15), for which neither driver can be blamed, lead Mercedes (Hamilton's team) to launch a protest against the race result. This is was overturned, but a "disillusioned" Hamilton still refused to attend the prize-giving gala, and is now being investigated for breaching the sporting regulations. All in all, a bad week for the former World Champion.

5 Max Verstappen   890,938
6 Tom Holland   882,885   The star of #1, who became infamous for his loose tongue regarding spoilers. And we're only two months away from seeing Holland as Nathan Drake in the video game adaptation Uncharted.
7 The Unforgivable   850,950   As if this Netflix movie starring Sandra Bullock that certainly won't inspire viral challenges like the last time around wasn't already badly received, it's splitting Spider-Man and his girl here.
8 Zendaya   842,941   The female lead of #1, who also became the real life girlfriend of #6, like Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy, but not Spider-Man and Mary Jane.
9 Vicky Kaushal   840,695   Another Indian in the top 10, namely a Bollywood star – last seen in the biopic Sardar Udham – whose views owe to marrying actress Katrina Kaif.
10 Deaths in 2021   833,280   I am so high, I can hear heaven
Whoa, but heaven, no, heaven don't hear me
11 The Witcher (TV series)   784,445   The taciturn white-haired monster hunter returns for another eight episodes.
12 Katrina Kaif   783,549   Bollywood star who married #9. Ms Kaif is not new to our WP:TOP25 page, just last week she was at #3. It has been 10 years now, but, if you want to start your introductions, you could start here. 200M people have done so before you.
13 Pushpa: The Rise   615,307   From Bollywood to Tollywood, namely an action drama about wood smugglers.
14 Vicente Fernández   604,192   Mexico lost a cultural icon, who recorded more than 50 albums and appeared in more than 30 movies, at the age of 81.
15 2021 Formula One World Championship   601,348   In what some pundits have described as the greatest season of all time, the season went down to the wire, the two drivers on equal points heading into the 22nd and final round. As if that weren't enough, the Championship was decided by a last-lap overtake after the safety car was withdrawn in controversial circumstances.

It was a season dominated by #4 and #5 with them taking 18 of 22 wins between them, and Verstappen taking the record for most podiums in a season (18, helped of course by the fact it was the longest ever season, by still)

Despite the Drivers' Championship being won by a Red Bull driver (#5), it was #4's team Mercedes (whose 2021 car is pictured) who took the Constructors' Championship.

For those of you who want to see more, the new seasons starts at the Bahrain International Circuit on March 20.

16 Tobey Maguire   595,899   The first movie Spider-Man (Nicholas Hammond doesn't count!), who has mostly been producing films and raising his kids after his fourth film couldn't leave development hell.
17 UFC 269   595,197   The latest mixed martial arts event, where the fights included Julianna Peña (pictured) taking the Bantamweight belt and Charles Oliveira defending his title.
18 Succession (TV series)   585,245   HBO aired the final episode of this show's third season.
19 Hawkeye (miniseries)   581,508   Things are all set for the end of Clint Barton's holiday misadventures, as the penultimate episode revealed he's about to face a transplant from the Netflix part of the MCU (whose enemy appears in #1!).
18 Elon Musk   552,749   Musk sells a chunk of his stock in electric automotive company Tesla, and as a result is due to pay a breathtakingly huge tax bill.
19 Keanu Reeves   515,757   After again being Ted "Theodore" Logan last year, this week Keanu will return to Neo's black clothes in The Matrix Resurrections.
20 List of Formula One World Drivers' Champions   508,935   As this list will tell you, #5 won his first Championship (joining the two legends to the left, Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher), denying #4 a record-breaking 8th. The season was won on 8 points officially, (due to a winner takes all finale), #5 beat #4 by a mere 2.256 seconds in the season finale. (see #15 for more). #5's win is also the first for a Dutch driver, as well as the first for Honda since 1991. In a mark of how close rival teams were, this is only the 11th time (in 72 seasons) that the Drivers' and Constructors' titles went to different teams.
21 Andrew Garfield   498,129   The second movie Spider-Man, in a duo of movies only made to spite Marvel Studios and keep the Webhead out of the MCU. In any case Garfield's career is in a very good place, with many hoping he can be an awards contender for Tick, Tick... Boom!.
22 bell hooks   466,166   Author Gloria Jean Watkins, better known by her lowercase pen name "bell hooks", died from kidney failure aged 69.
23 Miss Universe   449,830   The beauty pageant held last Sunday (#3), whose winner, #2, was born the same year an Indian woman last won with the one to the left, Lara Dutta – and second place in Dutta's national pageant was Priyanka Chopra, who won Miss World and became a Bollywood star. (the overall list of titleholders was the first article off the report at #26)
24 Anne Rice   445,189   The creator of vampire Lestat de Lioncourt passed away at the age of 80.
25 Billie Eilish   444,399   Along with turning 20, this singer brought in views due to becoming a voice against both the goddamned pandemic and the anti-vax movement, reporting she caught COVID-19 back in August, still feels some effects, and would've died if not for the vaccine.
