Tough noogies is a cornerstone of Wikipedia. To wit, all Wikipedia policies and other guidelines must be observed by all editors at all times, especially when a lot of other editors are telling them to do so. For example, an editor who believes that a point of view which opposes his own is illegitimate, may not write an article which either expresses or implies this, but must rather follow the principle of tough noogies, possibly accompanied by a brief and well-spent wikibreak.

Example:
Admin: The changes you made to that article have all been rolled back.
Editor: What?? But they were all legit corrections! I even provided source!
Admin: Tough noogies.
