I would suggest
“is a Polish athlete who three times set world record in 100 metres hurdles”
instead of current
“is a Polish hurdler. She set three world records in 100 metres hurdles”

P.S. I think you might as well just let it loose. (Moim zdaniem nie ma potrzeby dalszego cyzelowania.) The same with the one about Danuta Milej (To samo z artykułem o pani Danucie Milej).
