- sensiblement à la résolution des MNT issus des fichiers de la Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) ⇔ such as those resulting from the files of the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) JaneVannin (talk) 20:06, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, that's correct. May be it can be better explained by the following sentence: “such as those resulting from the files of the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) at their native resolution” Sting-fr (talk) 21:02, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ouvrir GRASS et entrer dans le projet suivant une projection UTM. ⇔ Open GRASS and enter into the following project a UTM projection. (it's not that I can't translate it - just that I'm not a GRASS user. Does this make sense?) JaneVannin (talk) 20:21, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- The translation should be: “Open GRASS and enter into the project following a UTM projection.” or “which follows a UTM projection” (my English reaches here its limits)
- Explanation: The SRTM files are in a Lat/Lon projection and you need to create in GRASS a project following that projection in order to be able to import the files. After that, you create in GRASS a new project of the same area but following a UTM projection (or whatever projection you choose) and open the map you created in the former project so it will follow the projection you want. Yes, GRASS really doesn't make it easy... but it's powerfull and free. Sting-fr (talk) 21:02, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
