- Supported Gavin Willshaw, Digital Curator, in the run-up to his first editathon at Portobello Library.
- Supported Academic Support Librarians Marshall Dozier, Ruth Jenkins and Donna Watson to help prepare for their first editathon at the EAHIL Conference in July.
- Supported Anne-Marie Scott to co-lead the EdTech editathon at the OER18 Conference making use of a resource to demonstrate how anyone can run an editathon quite simply; OER18 EdTech editathon SPLOT resource.

Projects/events in development
edit- Discussing with Hannah Evans at Wikimedia UK about the production of a new UK-based booklet of Wikipedia in the Classroom case studies.
- Meeting with Gavin Willshaw, digital curator at the University of Edinburgh, to support his preparations for first series of Wikipedia editathons taking place for Library and University Collections Staff.
- Another iteration of the Wikipedia assignment in the Reproductive Biology Hons. course has been confirmed to go ahead in September 2018.
- Wikipedia editing assignment for the Global Health MSc course - postponed until October 2018 due to Felix Stein working in Haiti at the moment.
- Finalised preparations with Pauline Kelly & Lois Wolffe (Amnesty Scotland) and Sara Thomas (Wikimedian at SLIC) on a Human Rights Defenders - Global Wikithon event for Amnesty International at the Glasgow Women's Library on Saturday 19 May 2018.
- A collaboration with Michael Seery at the School of Chemistry and the Royal Society of Chemistry to be confirmed.
- Ada Lovelace Day 2018 is confirmed as going ahead at the School of Chemistry again in October 2018; working with Michael Seery and Jenni Garden. The focus this year may be on contemporary women in chemistry.
- Further monthly Women in Red meetup scheduled for 8 June 2018 to mark the Processions event on 10 June 2018; celebrating 100 years of votes for women, marches and bannermaking.
- Awaiting word from Sara Mortsell at Wikimedia Sweden about her plan to collaborate on a Wikipedia in Education knowledge sharing exercise between Wikimedia Sweden, Stockholm University, the University of Edinburgh and Tel Aviv University.
- Finalised arrangements for the rescheduled Law and Technology Society editathon arranged - to be led by law student Jemima John. This has been rescheduled for 15 May 2018 along with a collaboration on an article designed to provoke discussion of Wikipedia in the Law curriculum at a later date.
- Showcase 'Wiki Loves Libraries' event for SDLC and SLIC representatives still mooted - awaiting word from Kirsty Lingstadt (Head of Digital Library) and liaising with Gavin Willshaw, Digital Curator on date and format.
- Continuing to liaise with Gavin Willshaw and Mike Bennett at Library & University Collections on the import of thesis data to Wikidata from the Edinburgh Research Archive. Completed necessary preparatory work; just awaiting Mike finishing developing the tool that converts ALMA library catalogue data into a Wikidata-friendly import.
- Continuing to add more data to Wikidata from the Survey of Scottish Witchcraft database. More to be added at the Digital Day of Ideas event on 16 May 2018 for digital scholars working at the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
- Liaising with Susan Ross, Gaelic Wikipedian at the National Library of Scotland, on a submission for the Gaelic Studies Conference at the University of Edinburgh next summer. Awaiting word on this from Susan.
