The following is a proposed Wikipedia policy, guideline, or process. The proposal may still be in development, under discussion, or in the process of gathering consensus for adoption. |
- Vote for an article you find excellent.
- Previous featured articles can be found in the VFH archive.
- Voters: be constructive with criticism. Writers: Be open to criticism.
- Articles from all namespaces (including Main, Wikipedia, Category, Book, etc.) are eligible for VFH.
- If a nomination disappears from this page, it is likely to be found in either the recently featured or recently failed nomination lists.
- If your article doesn't get featured, don't despair. It may be eligible to be a Good Article so long as it meets certain criteria.
Overview
editVFH is the place to nominate pages for featured or good article status.
The Score is a bad indicator if your article will pass VFH, rather the content in the VFH is what counts. (The score is still looked at to pass or fail the VFH, a VFH won't do well with -5 score but great content)
The feature queue holds passed VFH's for future features.
VFH's on hold will be marked as so. A VFH hold mark looks like this: This VFH is on Hold
