Leonard Shapiro is a South African artist who enjoys intervening in everyday social situations in order facilitate a response from members of the public.[1] Originally trained in the social sciences, he is currently studying Art Theory at the Michaelis School of Fine Art. He is particularly known for his unique portrait drawings[2] and public art projects.
Education
editShapiro received his Bachelor of Social Science degree (BSocSc) from University of Cape Town and is currently studying Art Theory at the Michaelis School of Fine Art.[1]
