How do I add an image of Sydney Freeland?
Ferdosaabdi (talk) 02:35, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- Are you thinking of uploading an image? If so, there's a good summary at WP:UPI. Basically, you have to check that you have copyright permission to upload the photo. As the reference indicates, "most images you might find on the Internet are copyrighted and not appropriate for uploading to Wikipedia. If you did not create the image, or if you are unable or unwilling to verify its copyright status, do not upload the image." So it depends on what sort of picture of Sydney Freeland you have. Can you give us some more details about the picture? wia (talk) 03:26, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

editThanks for the feedback. I have used third party reliable resources not any press releases or announcements. The references cover the topics those are mentioned in the article. The same resources are used in this article Naukri.com and this article is approved.

- The article Naukri.com is sub-standard and not to be used as a guide or example. I have added a maintenance template to it to indicate its main problem.
- A comprehensive analysis of the problems with the sources used has now been provided at Draft:Wisdom Jobs by User:Timtrent. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 11:12, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

- It seems that the notification template was faulty. I have reported it. You have for a second time, copied and pasted http://www.ecssr.com/ECSSR/appmanager/portal/ecssr?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=profilesPage&_nfls=false&_event=CustomEventViewPro&prfId=%2FProfile%2FProfiles_0036.xml&lang=en and your draft is not subject to speedy deletion as a copyright violation. Do not, please, ever paste material from external sites into Wikipedia. Once is a mistake. Twice is tantamount to deliberate copyright violation. Such actions militate towards a block, so please be more wise in your approach. All words on Wikipedia must be 100% your own. Please read WP:COPYRIGHTS, a long read, but essential knowledge. - You're trying to add links to a paper you wrote hosted on a site you made. Personal websites fail our reliable sourcing guidelines, and we have specific rules about citing your own work. Ian.thomson (talk) 16:07, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

editI was directed to this page to find assistance on why my article was rejected. My question is how reviewers can pass on the reliability of a source that they don't have in their possession, ijn this case the recently published Years of Grace, from BRC press in the country of Belize. Just wanted to confirm if indipendent reviews in media would help in substantiating the article
Unfortunately, this group which does the delphic movement wasn't so tech savvy to record digital content over the last twenty years and hence the challenge in terms of showcasing indipendent reviews
Please advice
Thanks, Ramakrishna
- Hi! Yes, independent reviews would help substantiate the claims made about Christian Kirsch in your draft. Note that sources do not necessarily have to be Internet-based; you can use books, newspapers and other media too, per WP:GNG, as long as they meet the reliable, independent source requirements. wia (talk) 14:35, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
