Just need to know how to take the Greek letters "ΣA" out of the title for this page---I'd like it to just be "Sigma Alpha Christian Sorority" instead of including the Greek letters, since other Greek organizations don't have their letters on their title in their Wikipedia page.

Thanks!

Done To change a page title, WP:MOVE it. A user must make at least 10 edits before they are eligible to move a page. Since you've only made 9, I've moved it for you. --Worldbruce (talk) 06:17, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have submitted this draft for re-review having edited the content as requested by the reviewer. However, is it possible to get specifics from the reviewers as to which sections they were referring to in their reasons for declining? As I am not sure what else I could potentially need to edit and am happy to take suggestions/comments. Thanks

@Sslb754: I have commented at length on the draft. --Worldbruce (talk) 20:25, 15 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

this is in regards to the draft of dr.riazalishah by legends2016. i can tone down the article but how can you say that the sources do not mention notability? he was the doctor and personal physician of not only the president but the foudner of the nation and he can overcome tubercloisis in pakistan. also he m,ingled with the elite. please discuss this with me on this before i re submit. ure hurting the workd by keeping this info. @Legends2016: Welcome to the Articles for Creation Help Desk. I believe you have already received some advice from the Teahouse and from an experienced reviewer. I agree with the opinions presented in those previous discussions. The key to this draft's success will be to find a variety of reliable sources of information (like newspapers and books from reputable publishers) that are unaffiliated with Ali Shah (like third-party writers or journalists), and use those references to write the text of the draft. Press releases, blog posts, information from web fora or interviews are not particularly great sources, so it's best not to rely on them. It certainly sounds like this doctor has done a lot of good work, but in order for him to have his own Wikipedia article, the quality of the referencing is of paramount importance. My draft article "Yitzhak Buxbaum" was just rejected for the second time. The current draft attempted to address the problems raised by the previous reviewer, and includes citations from books and newspaper articles independent of the subject. I am at a loss to understand how these sources and their content don't establish notability. I am also confused by the reviewer's comment that "some citations establish notability but not very well." If they establish notability, isn't the subject notable?

In addition, we are talking about the author of several well-received books published by well-established publishers, who is also a very widely known storyteller and teacher. Do these achievements not qualify someone as notable? Would adding a bibliography of Buxbaum's books be a help here, or a waste of time?

The reviewer's note said "problems of self-promotion remain" but a) it isn't self-promotion as I am not Yitzhak Buxbaum; b) I don't know what those problems are at this point. Is the issue the one remaining link to Buxbaum's website? It seems to me that articles on other people and institutions do include their websites; would moving this to a list at the end of the article help?

Please help me out. Any specific guidance you can offer would be most appreciated. Justin Jaron Lewis (talk) 19:53, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm trying to create an article on "Deodoroc", a non-toxic commercial product for controlling odors. My first submission was declined for good reasons and I corrected the shortcomings. This second submission was also declined on reasonable grounds, where they said my references didn't "adequately show the subject's notability" and that I needed to add a variety of reliable, independent (third-party) sources that discuss the subject in significant detail. This is where I have the problem - there's nothing on the internet that meets that criteria. I'd be OK with this but this rule doesn't appear to have been applied to the articles for the chemical based products from Febreze, Glade and AirWick, which are the main competitors to Deodoroc. Does anyone have suggestions on how to deal with this situation? thanks!

Unfortunately, if you can find nothing on the Internet about the product, then the product isn't considered notable. I haven't checked the articles on the other three products, although I would be very surprised if there is no mention of them on the Internet. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:32, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
