Pagename of draft in question: Pentz Noble Family
I have translated an article from the German Wikipedia ( Pentz, Adelsgeschlecht) into English ( Pentz Noble Family) and suggested this translated article to the English Wikipedia.com, but it did get rejected as being not notable enough. The reason I translated it was based on several requests being made from English speaking researchers. Because it is a translation , all sources cited are going back to the German original and are in German. This obviously did make it not substantiated and notable enough for the English speaking reviewer. All I wanted was an English version of a German article being posted in Wikipedia. What do you recommend me to do in order to have an English translation of a German Wikipedia article posted sucessfully? Thanks Gremmelin
- Hi Gremmelin the main problem with Draft:Pentz (Noble Family) is that the apparently substantive sources are rather inaccessible. I will request assistance from the subject specialists at WP:WikiProject Royalty and Nobility to assess the draft. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 18:44, 14 September 2017 (UTC)

I would like to understand the process for making my newly created wikipedia page ("Dark Marketing") more official. Right now, I got a message saying that my wikipedia page was "approved" and is currently in the Start-Class category. What steps need to be taken for me to be able to type in "Dark Marketing" on Google so that my wikipedia page pops up? Looking forward to a reply. Thanks!
BrandTotal (talk) 09:11, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Rachel Pleet at BrandTotal. When (or whether) Dark Marketing is returned by Google as a search result is up to Google, not Wikipedia. There is nothing to do at this end but wait. One word of caution, you wrote "my wikipedia page", but bear in mind that editors do not own Wikipedia pages. Pages you create are subject to merciless editing by anyone. --Worldbruce (talk) 13:21, 14 September 2017 (UTC)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:VWO I see a warning on this page that tells me that a page in this name already exists. I don't understand how to address the issue, can you help please? I need to: 1. disambiguate 2. redirect everyone to this page whenever someone searches for Visual Website Optimizer 3. Make sure this page isn't visible to anyone: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_Website_Optimizer 4. redirect all mentions of VWO (for the A/B testing tool) to the first link I shared. Would appreciate all/any help!

- Hi Nitika.g4 Only the first item on your list is relevant now, so I have taken care of it by moving the draft to Draft:VWO (software). The rest of the issues will be taken care of by the reviewer if/when the draft is accepted. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 18:25, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
