This page can be used to make sure lists of all Great Britain and Ireland biota is covered on Wikipedia. Lists should be split so that no more than 750 species are present in one list, though a number of around 250 is preferable. Depending on the reference or the general scientific consensus the list may refer to British Isles (BI) or United Kingdom (UK) in place of Great Britain (GB). When there are two lists in the list column, generally the second already exists while the first could be a preferable name.
