Welcome to Wiki Project California Delta!!
editThis task force aims to coordinate article development on one of California's fastest growing regions, the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta and environs, commonly known as the California Delta. This task force will mirror San Francisco Bay Area Task Force on articles relating to the region, especially in cases of overlap at Suisun Bay and points downstream. This task force would be considered a subset of a California Central Valley task force, if one existed, and is a subset of WikiProject California.
Region Definitions
editWe will leave the definition quite loose of what the delta is for this moment until we gather a clear consensus on what the geographical/city boundaries will be. However a general guideline will exist of the western point will be Bay Point by Pittsburg, the northern point shall be Isleton, the eastern point of Stockton and a southern point of Tracy. Once again this is a preliminary and loose definition for what to go by.
