  • Other examples: The reaction involving iron and hydrogen peroxide is pH dependent. At the right pH (3 to 5 or so) it is fenton's reagent which produces the powerful oxidizing agent called the hydroxyl radical. However at higher pHs does H2O2 spontaneous decompose?
