Add More Inline Citations (User:Epbr123talk)
editThe reason why many of the articles in the twenty-five most populated cities in the United States are B-class are because they are underreferenced.
Inline citations are purposed to cite hard facts that can back up the factuality. Any extraordinary claim or statistic should be cited in this article.
Look Especially at:
edit- Not done History section; there are only three references linking to it.
- Not done Lake Michigan subsection; no references at all.
- Not done Architecture subsection; missing references on several paragraphs.
- Not done Neighborhoods subsection; no references at all.
- Not done Parks subsection; no references at all.
- Not done Entertainment and performing arts subsection; no references at all.
- Not done Tourism subsection; few uncited paragraphs.
- Not done Cuisine subsection; only one inline citation. Needs more to cover all challengeable content.
- Not done Sports subsection; several uncited paragraphs.
- Not done Media subsection; only one inline citation. Needs more to cover all challengeable content.
- Not done Economy section; several uncited paragraphs.
- Not done Demographics section; primary gazeteer/census reference can be copied using the <ref name /> technique to cite each block of information above data table. More citations needed in information below data table.
- Not done Law and government subsection; hard facts go uncited in the paragraph describing the city government itself, the lead paragraph of the section, and the paragraph describing how Chicago often goes Democrat.
- Not done Colleges and universities subsection; there is only one cited paragraph, and that paragraph is a little over one line long. The other paragraphs need inline citations.
- Not done Health systems subsection; there are several citation-needed templates.
- Not done Transportation subsection; four paragraphs go completely uncited, and need additions in this manner.
Make the Chicagoland Section Relevant (User:Ryecatcher773talk)
editNot done As of now, the Chicagoland section does not talk really about the city of Chicago at all, but rather of its surroundings. This should be fixed; the information on Chicagoland should be relevant to the article pertaining to the actual city of Chicago.
