Egbert Hambley - new article, +10.Y
Margo Maeckelberghe - cleanup, added an image, added content and refs (diff ); still stubby, though. +5.Y
Trewarmett - sourced existing content, small expansion to cover Prince of Wales Engine House, removed fugly {{refimprove }}
tag that had languished since 2010 - all together 10 points Y
Upper Tamar Lake - destubbed, all sourced, 25 points Y
A30 road - core article, cleaned up, added about 3K of text, retrospectively sourced lots of things, added history as one of the most important 17th century coaching routes, trim a bunch of unsourced content that was wrong, removed a table an IP had parked slap-bang in the middle of the article that sat unchallenged for four years ... I don't mean to be rude, but fucking hell, what a mess. I think that's 50 points + 25 for cleanup Y yes, embarassing!♦ Dr. Blofeld 14:44, 11 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]
Tamar Bridge - core article cleaned up, pretty much rewritten from scratch ... this is tricky as the article now has about 2K less prose, but that's from tidying up quite a bit of waffle and removing some BLP violations like unsourced assertions to suicides on the bridge and some POV pushing that just didn't seem to be represented in any national newspapers, the BBC or the Plymouth Herald - but everything is now cited to a reliable source. I think it just needs a general section on basics like location and tolls (as per Dartford Crossing ), a bit on traffic, and some photos, and we'll be good for GA on this. I'm calling 50 points for core article + 25 for improvements + 5 for fixing honorary {{refimprove }}
and {{npov }}
tags that should have been there, making 80 points Y
Often the case that bloat needs to be removed. Excellent job, in fact it doens't look far off GA now.♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:08, 11 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]

It was 274 characters . Sturmvogel_66 added ~700 chars, taking it to 992, and I added a further ~1560 so it's now at 2558. Worm TT (talk ) 17:50, 13 August 2016 (UTC) Y You get 75 points as you didn't remove the tag.♦ Dr. Blofeld 19:04, 13 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]
Could I suggest that we both get 50 points for working on a core article, I get the 25 for destubbing, Sturmvogel_66 gets 15 for expansion and tag removal? I see Cwmhiraeth got an additional 50 points for clean up on an article I'd already destubbed, so there's some precedent Worm TT (talk ) 18:33, 13 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]
This is why sometimes it's a good idea to "reserve" an article on the list with your name while working on it to avoid edit conflicts. I did have that as part of the rules for the Dragon contest but most people ignored it so I didn't this time! I can't give you both 80 points! Sturm is entitled to the 50 points for working on a core article, but not the 25 for destubbing. You'll get 75 I think, Sturm gets 60. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 19:01, 13 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]
Even though it's an inadvertent collaboration, the rules state: "Collaboration is permitted, but only between individuals who have signed up in the participants section. The same points will be given to each of the people who have significantly improved an article together." That's my story and I'm sticking to it.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk ) 20:06, 13 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]
Good point, the question is though, would you have destubbed it if Worm hadn't have further expanded it? This is a difficult one but I think 75 for Worm and 60 for you in relation to what you both contributed is fair. The "together" thing was intended for amicable, intentional working together anyway, this isn't...♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:47, 13 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]

Um... @Dr. Blofeld : The rules stated GMT (or UTC). We are on British Summer Time, so there is one additional hour. All three were submitted before 23:59 GMT Worm TT (talk ) 07:34, 14 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]
It means 23:59 on the day . Why would we add another hour on the day? You know the rules, three day contests which start from 0:00 on day 1 and end 23:59 on Day 3 on UK time. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 07:47, 14 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]
Ok. Though, I've always worked in GMT when GMT is shown (my Wikipedia clock is set to it), comes from having naval parents I guess. Worm TT (talk ) 07:57, 14 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]
Sorry for the confusion on that!♦ Dr. Blofeld 08:42, 14 August 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]
