Wikipedia:WikiProject LGBTQ+ studies/Jumpaclass

Jumpaclass is a fun semi-competition that is run by the LGBTQ+ WikiProject to improve the quality of all our articles. There are many processes for higher quality articles, such as Peer review and FAC, but many stubs and start rated articles languish unedited for lack of interest. Jumpaclass is a unique attempt to correct that.

How it works

edit

Find an article you would like to improve from the list of assessed LGBT articles: you can choose Stub, Start, or B class articles. Add the article and your name to the appropriate date below. You may list as many articles as you like. You then have one week to improve the article by at least one class. After seven days, another member of the project will check your progress and either upgrade the article or explain to you why you haven't improved the article enough. If the article has improved you get points for every class it has "jumped". A running tally can be seen below.

Jumping articles

edit

Add your entry to the top of the month, listing the article, its class, and sign with 4 tildes, like this:

Chandler Burr, stub. ~~~~

Which produces:

Points tally

edit

The editor with the highest number of points at the end of the year wins the right to choose any article for the January Article Collaboration. The board will be wiped, and the fun begins all over again.
