Leeds to Innovation is an exhibition running at Leeds Industrial Museum until 2021. It highlights the makers, inventors and entrepeneurs behind some of Leeds (& the world's) best known inventions! Some of the people featured, whose articles could do with expansion, include:
- William Aspdin - inventor of concrete
- Benjamin Gott - textiles giant and builder of the one-time world's largest woollen mill, Leeds Industrial Museum
- Eileen Ingham - scientist at the University of Leeds
- Elizabeth Beecroft - owner of Kirkstall Forge
- Washington Teasdale - engineer, astronomer, photographer and microscopist
- John Smeaton - father of civil engineering
- Harris Sumrie - Jewish textiles pioneer
Others, who are notable, but don't currently have articles, include:
- Brian Boffey - inventor of Jelly Tots
- Robert Fourness - the inventor of a steam-powered autombile
