Welcome to the second Bugle edition of 2017!
Our articles section highlighting content promoted to featured or A-class status last month is of particular interest in that all the new featured articles are part of long-running series, specifically: war memorials; the Manhattan Project; air attacks against the Tirpitz; German capital ships; and Yugoslav warships. In addition, the listing of new A-class articles includes the first successful nominations by Exemplo347 and Mr rnddude - congratulations!
While this issue's book review doesn't feature any reviews by editors, it includes an unusually large number of external reviews - presumably the northern winter is a good time to bunker down with a military history book! Meanwhile, TomStar81 continues his contributions covering World War I with an op-ed on submarine warfare, along with his regular timeline listing the major actions this month one hundred years ago.
