Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/1911 verification/Suggestions for non-inclusion

Below is a list of articles removed from the main list of articles from the 1911 edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica that may have inadequate or outdated information. That list was generated from the original 1911 topics list and articles with the {{1911}} reference template. The list below is made up of items proposed to be removed without adding a redirect or article.

Many entries on this page are due to:

  • OCR scanning errors in the online source materials, generically referred to as "typos"
  • Artifacts due to the logic of the automated tools that generated the topic list
  • Inappropriate grouping of two topics into one article in Encycopedia Britannica

The single-character flags are:

  • Articles with no additional marking were from the original topics list
  • Articles with * had the {{1911}} template
  • Articles with + were on both lists
