- I have been thinking that this should be moved to 1755 earthquake with a redirect from 1755 Lisbon earthquake since the earthquake affected more of Portugal than just Lisbon. I keep running into damage references in materials about the Algarve. It's time to broaden the title. Ron B. Thomson (talk) 19:05, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- Comment: I'm not a project member, but it strikes me that Portuguese Macau is an article as important as British Hong Kong, Shanghai International Settlement and Treaty ports. It's currently a very bare Stub, but the history of these two European colonies is of great importance to the history of colonialism in China. — OwenBlacker (Talk) 11:25, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
