—Project

As part of the project's New Year's Resolutions, there is an ongoing effort to decrease the number of stubs to 5%. As of March 28, we are at 7.85%, with 373 articles currently in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source and improve stub articles, and a list of well-known wrestlers and tag teams that should be fairly easy to improve is included on the stub article subpage.
Based on the members list, there are currently 242 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.

Recent Professional Wrestling News

On March 14:
- Adam Pearce won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship by defeating the reigning champion Blue Demon, Jr. and Phil Shatter in a three-way elimination match.
- Corsica Joe died at the age of 90 in Nashville, Tennessee.
On March 19:
- At Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre's Homenaje a Dos Leyendas show, La Sombra defeated El Felino in a Mask vs. Mask match, forcing El Felino to unmask.
- Takeshi Morishima and Taiji Ishimori won the AAA World Tag Team Championship from La Hermandad 187 (Nicho el Milionario and Joe Lider) at a television taping.
On March 20:
- Mikel Scicluna died at the age of 80 due to cancer.
- Charlie Haas won the JAPW New Jersey State Championship by defeating Devon Moore.
- Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (Claudio Castagnoli and Ares) won the Chikara Campeonatos de Parejas by defeating The Colony (Fire Ant and Soldier Ant).
On March 21:
- Shingo Takagi and Cyber Kong defeated Cima and Gamma to win the Dragon Gate Open the Twin Gate Championship.
- Yamato defeated Naruki Doi to become the new Open the Dream Gate Champion.
On March 22:
- Wade Barrett broken his nose at the NXT tapings.
- Dixie Carter officially confirmed Awesome Kong's release from TNA.
It was reported on March 24 that Florida Championship Wrestling competitor Richie Steamboat had suffered a torn PCL.
On March 26, it was reported that Marco Corleone had officially left AAA.
