Hi! To start, I am Meisfunny, and I would like to welcome you to the Project. As you know, I recently decided to create WikiProject Seattle Mariners by copying the Red Sox page and doing a lot of tweaking. I still don't want it to look exactly like it, so I will be doing lots of main page work. If you just came and don't know what to do, take a look at the Priorities paragraph below.
Priorities
Right now, we have four main priorities:
Our number one priority is to recruit people for the project. I would like to have at least 4 others come September. Just use {{WP MARINERS INVITE}}.
We need to make several extra departments, as well as replacing red link templates with content. Take a look at some of the other Baseball sub-WikiProjects if you need help. You can always copy, paste, and tweak from there.
We need to assign people jobs. Someone to help me create the newsletter monthly, and someone (or somebot) to deliver it on time. Someone to create templates, someone to create an evaluation plan, someone to create departments and make pages where there are red links, and then finally, a LOT of people to just plain edit M's articles.
Lastly, one other thing we really need to do is to create a barnstar to motivate people to work hard.
There is a list of jobs on the Main Project Page. If you could do one and are willing, please sign you usrername next to an unfinshed one. When a job is complete, use the <s> tag.
Other Goals
Help tweak the main page to make it unique. If you know a good programmer, please ask for their help on it.
