New Zealand transport
- The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed creation of the stub template and/or category above. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the template's or category's talk page (if any). No further edits should be made to this section.

There are a lot of stubs relating to New Zealand transport which currently are just in larger parent categories. I'd like to propose the following:
- Category:New Zealand transport stubs - as a parent for the current Category:New Zealand rail transport stubs, articles marked {{NewZealand-bridge-struct-stub}}, and:
- Category:New Zealand road stubs - about 60 articles currently use {{NewZealand-road-stub}}. It will largely empty the Oceania category, but that will be parent to two subcategories, so that's not a major problem.
- {{NewZealand-airport-stub}} - around 40 articles are currently simply marked with the oceania equivalent.

New Zealand/South Africa law

The result of the debate was create.
A {{NewZealand-law-stub}} and a {{NewZealand-case-law-stub}} both useful. Each of them should cover over to 100 articles, in which case a Category:New Zealand law stubs and a Category:New Zealand case law stubs should also be useful. A {{SouthAfrica-case-law-stub}} and equivalent Category:South African case law stubs also looks similarly useful. All should be speediable. Grutness...wha? 23:31, 26 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi all, long time no see... a suggestion about the currently overpopulated Category:Painting stubs: splitting paintings by century. Though I haven't done a thorough count, it looks likely that {{17C-painting-stub}}, {{18C-painting-stub}}, {{19C-painting-stub}}, and {{20C-painting-stub}} would easily make the threshold for separate categories, and if not they'd be useful as upmerged templates anyway. Other centuries could easily be split out in the same way. Grutness...wha? 09:10, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

I've made the templates and started sorting... the 19th and 20th century ones have already reached threshold (and I'm just past C in the painting stubs cat... so I'm speedying Category:19th-century painting stubs and Category:20th-century painting stubs (uniform with Category:19th-century paintings, etc.) Grutness...wha? 02:21, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

a couple more

Hello, lately I have been sorting through Category:Cypriniformes stubs and I have come across a lot of articles that are in the Nemacheilidae family. At a rough guess I would say more than 200. This category is definitely needed so we can further reduce the size of Category:Cypriniformes stubs. TheEditor867 05:59, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
